上海理工大学深海高端装备系统研究院充分利用跨学科力量,以服务国家海洋战略、能源安全为宗旨,以深海高端装备系统为研究对象,以研发深海资源开采装备关键技术为研究特色,开展海洋战略装备系统、深海资源开采装备系统等关键共性技术研究;承担人才培养任务,以自动化、材料、机械、土木工程为基础学科开拓深海资源研究;承担技术产业化、服务社会任务,推动技术集成转移和产业化。

深海研究院汇聚了国内海洋油气开采、海洋工程领域精英,拥有中组部万人计划——国家高层次人才特殊支持计划领军人才、国家百千万人才工程创新型人才、享受国务院特殊政府津贴的专家、上海市领军人才、上海市优秀技术带头人等骨干人员,具有雄厚的技术研发能力。

目前主要从事水合物开采的水下装备研究开发,水下岩土力学的分析计算,吸力桩(锚)结构设计和分析计算及安装,水下管道连接器、水下插拔强电和弱电连接器、水下光电复合连接器、水下高压液快速插拔连接器、水下控制系统等核心设备的研发制造及技术服务。曾经为深海油气开发、军工等多个项目进行水下岩土力学分析计算,吸力锚结构设计和泵撬块设计及制造,并完成水下安装。研究成果已广泛应用,具备产业化功能,并服务于社会。

研究院与美国、挪威和荷兰等多家知名公司合作,并且与宝鸡石油机械有限责任公司共建国家油气钻井装备工程技术研究中心,与中国船舶重工集团公司七五〇试验场共同建设海洋工程装备检测试验技术国家工程实验室。研究院目前配建有水下吸力锚(桩)岩土力学实验、材料化分实验室、盐雾实验室、高低温实验室、深海电连接器水下插拔实验室等。

The Research Institute of Deep sea High-end Equipment System of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology fully utilizes interdisciplinary forces, with the aim of serving national marine strategy and energy security, focusing on deep sea high-end equipment systems as the research object, and focusing on the key generic technologies for deep sea resource extraction equipment. It also conducts research on key common technologies such as marine strategic equipment systems and deep sea resource extraction equipment systems. The research institute undertakes the task of cultivating talents, exploring deep-sea resource research based on disciplines such as automation, materials, machinery, and civil engineering. It also undertakes the tasks of technological industrialization and serving society, and promote the integration, transfer, and industrialization of technology.

The institute has strong technological research and development capabilities. With elites in the fields of offshore oil and gas exploration and ocean engineering, as well as backbone personnel such as the National High Level Talent Special Support Program Leading Talents of the Central Organization Department, the National Hundred and Ten Million Talents Project Innovative Talents, experts who enjoy special government subsidies from the State Council, leading talents in Shanghai, and outstanding technical leaders in Shanghai.

Now it is mainly engaged in the research and development of underwater equipment for hydrate mining, analysis and calculation of underwater rock and soil mechanics, design  analysis and installation of suction pile (anchor) structure, research and development, manufacturing, and technical services of core equipment such as underwater pipeline connectors, underwater plug-in strong and weak electrical connectors, underwater optoelectronic composite connectors, underwater high-pressure liquid quick plug-in connectors, and underwater control systems. It has conducted underwater geotechnical analysis and calculation, suction anchor structure design, pump skid design and manufacturing, and completed underwater installation for multiple projects such as deep-sea oil and gas development and military industry. The research results have been widely applied, possess industrial functions, and serve society.

  The research institute has collaborated with several well-known companies of USA, Norway, and the Netherlands. And it has jointly established the National Engineering Research Center for Oil & Gas Drilling Equipment with Baoji Oilfield Machinery Company, and the National Engineering Laboratory for Marine Engineering Equipment Testing and Testing Technology with China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. 750 Testing Ground. At present, the research institute is equipped with underwater suction anchor (pile) rock and soil mechanics experiments, material chemical analysis laboratories, salt spray laboratories, high and low temperature laboratories, and deep-sea electrical connector underwater insertion and extraction laboratories.
